Lexumen Privacy Policy

Effective date: 17 August 2026

Lexumen is a daily crossword game. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the app.

Information stored on your device

Puzzle progress, solved dates, streaks, hint usage, difficulty preferences, purchase entitlement, consent choices, and vocabulary-journal entries are stored locally on your device. Lexumen does not operate an account system or upload this information to a Lexumen server.

Deleting the app may delete this local information, subject to the backup behaviour of your device and app store.

Advertising

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and usage information to provide, measure, prevent fraud in, and personalise advertising.

Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. Where required, the app presents a consent form before requesting ads. You can revisit available consent choices from the app's settings.

Purchases

The optional permanent unlock is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Lexumen receives the purchase status needed to provide the unlock but does not receive or store your payment-card details. The applicable store provider processes the transaction under its own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Lexumen is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly operate services that collect personal information directly from children.

Data sharing and retention

Lexumen does not sell personal information. Information processed by advertising and store providers is governed by their policies and retention practices. Local game data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app, subject to device backups.
